St. Isidore Blood Drive
Sunday, July 27, 2008 will be our next Blood Drive held here on-site.
With the shortage of blood in the metro area, the Red Cross has asked us to hold
a third blood drive this year.
The Red Cross is now offering electronic scheduling. Go to
www.givelife.org online, fill out the
one time registration if you have not done so, and schedule your appointment.
Once you are registered,
you can schedule an appointment for anywhere the Red Cross is doing a blood drive -- work, local school,
or here at the parish.
When looking to schedule for this Blood Drive, our sponsor code is stisicc or you can find it by putting
in our zip code of 48042.

High School Youth Group Teen Leadership Committee (TLC) Meeting
Wednesday, July 30th
At the Macomb Recreation Center from 5p -7p
As we begin to plan for the 2008 – 2009 year we will be having our first Teen Leadership Committee (TLC)
meeting. TLC members are asked to meet at the Macomb Recreation Center from 5p -7p
for a planning session and dinner in Conference Room B.
When we are done everyone is invited to enjoy the
facilities and can swim, use the gym, or the weight room (weight room is for 15 yrs or older).

MCREST is coming the week of August 24th
The Macomb County Rotating Emergency Shelter Team ( MCREST ) is a group of participating congregations
that agree to open up their facilities and their hearts to the homeless community. MCREST seeks to provide
temporary emergency shelter for the homeless community.
St. Isidore is opening up our parish during the week of August 24th.
Please take a look at the attached form and see if you can help out. The form can be dropped off at the
office or in the collection basket.
